===== Aromatherapy ===== Neroli essential oil is distilled from the flowers of the bitter orange tree. It is incredibly expensive but well worth the cost, for its heady, rich scent is useful in achieving the following magical changes: //Self-purification//. Inhale while visualizing the scent burning away negative thought-patterns, harmful habits and other misuses of your bioelectrical energy and mind. //Joy//. Sniff the luxurious scent to lift your spirits and to at least temporarily settle emotional upsets. This is, in a sense, a form of self-purification. It may even create a feeling of euphoria. //Sexual relations//. Inhale while visualizing your physical, emotional, spiritual, mental and psychic connection with the person in question. While not considered to be truly aphrodisiac in its effects, neroli essential oil calms the conscious mind, allays worries over sexual “performance” and smooths the path to mutually satisfying sexual relations. In her excellent book //Aromatherapy: An A-Z//, Patricia Davis says that this effect of the scent of orange flowers explains why they’ve long been popular in bridal wreaths. Neroli essential oil, while costly, has such a delicious odor that it’s worth putting away money earmarked for its purchase.
