I bought this deck to accompany Ann Moura's book, [[https://amzn.to/3eV2g6d|Green Witchcraft]]. The book is well-written, and I appreciate Ann's angle on witchcraft, since her own witchcraft philosophy is built on a lineage of folk witches, along with [[philosophy:religion:wicca|wiccan]] influences.

This deck follows much of the imagery in the traditional [[tarot:reviews:rws|RWS]], but it does deviate in ways that make the deck's overall mood more positive and oriented toward nature-based magic.

My biggest complaint about this deck is the people. As noted in my review of the [[tarot:reviews:faerie]] deck, I have a high bar for illustrations of people, and the faces and overall appearance of the people in this deck's illustrations just don't do it for me. I really wish the illustrations were of a higher caliber, because the overall symbolism of the deck is very easy to read intuitively.

This deck comes with a large book with in-depth card descriptions and notes. Moura's writing style is easy to read and understand.

===== Production Quality =====
Like all Llewellyn decks, this deck's cardstock is pretty thin. I definitely recommend sleeving this deck if you intend on using it regularly. The book and deck are packaged in a sturdy box with a magnetic closure - I like these boxes, since I can reuse them for storage elsewhere in my home.
