This deck was a gift from a dear friend of mine, who lives in Spain. It's a quirky deck, with an art style that doesn't have mass appeal, but definitely has appeal for those of us who like detailed surrealist art. This deck more or less follows the Smith-Waite rubric, so if you're already familiar with that deck, this should be pretty easy to read. The LWB is very short, as it contains five translations of the contents, so space is at a premium - the card descriptions summarize the meaning and theme, with no additional text going into the details of the artwork.

Production Quality

These cards are of average quality - the cardstock isn't particularly hefty, and I ended up sleeving my deck and making a new box for it. Of note, this deck follows the European tarot playing card size, rather than the larger size used for divinatory decks.
