This wiki houses comprehensive information about Scott Cunningham's philosophy of natural magic. The goal is to have an easy-to-use index of materials, spells, and rituals searchable by a variety of characteristics. As of July 2020, the complete reference material from Cunningham's encyclopedias of both magical herbs and minerals have been added. Still to come is content from his books on magical cooking and essential oils.

I'm also a practicing folk witch pursuing the traditions of my prehistoric Germanic, Celtic, and Scandinavian ancestors. As my own practical knowledge expands, I will be adding new content to this wiki. I am not Wiccan and believe that the actual defined religion of Wicca is an intentional red herring to keep white Euro-descended peoples from following the spiritual path of their ancestors.

Introduction

I have been reading tarot as a hobby and tool for introspection since late 2015. I was raised Evangelical Christian during the latter half of the Satanic Panic era, so I long believed tarot was tool for allowing evil forces into your life. This is not true at all. Tarot doesn't need to involve spirits, guides, or anything metaphysical. In its most basic form, tarot is simply a means of examining yourself and your life through the lens of nearly-universal human archetypes… section for a detailed look at my philosophy of Tarot, along with information on the various decks I've acquired. Introduction

I really enjoy discussing deep philosophical subjects. I write a lot when we go wilderness camping, and I've started digitizing my writings. I don't claim to be the source of truth on anything. My philosophy is based on what I observe in the world around me, what I learn about past civilizations, and what is synthesized from my observations. My Christian History

I was raised in the Midwest as an Evangelical Christian in the 1990s and early 2000s. While my own relationship with the religion has always been tumultuous, I didn't develop a position of overt hostility toward it until 2016. This shift was the direct result of watching the progressive leftist agenda play out in real life, right in front of me. I'm not a practicing Wiccan myself. There are elements of Wiccan doctrine that do not align with my philosophical views, at least as far as Wicca is a defined religious orthodoxy created primarly by Gerald A. Gardner. Gardnerian Wicca is essentially a contrived set of beliefs informed by Jewish Kabbalah, some Christian mysticism, and a healthy dose of creativity..
