I purchased this deck specifically as a reference for herbal correlations, as part of my research into magical uses for plants of all kinds. The images are very beautiful, but unless you already have an existing deep, encyclopedic knowledge of magical herbalism and nature magic, you're probably going to have a very hard time reading with this deck.

I don't find the images intutitive at all. The use of flora and a few other elements (like rocks and magical tools) makes for a very nice collection of images, but it's very abstract as a way of portraying human archetypes and behaviors.

The accompanying book is large and complete, and I really like that it includes suggestions for rituals and spells you can incorporate into your personal practice. I think this is a great deck for anyone interested in herbal magic, to use as a tool for inspiration and reference.

Production Quality

This is a nicely-packaged deck. The telescoping box is heavy-duty and pretty compact, but since the book is bigger than the deck, the box isn't good for regular deck use. This is an oversized deck, with the cards about 3×5“ in size. This is good for the artwork, but bad for my (very) small hands. I ended up using recipe card sleeves to sleeve this deck, but those sleeves are thin and flexible enough that they make it more difficult to shuffle. I just wanted to keep the cards in good shape, and recipe sleeves work well for that purpose. My biggest complaint about this deck is the print quality. A few cards aren't perfectly square (most noticeable when scanning), and the overall color saturation is just a little off.
