This deck and book were my 2021 Christmas gift. I asked for it after seeing the gorgeous major arcana cards posted in reviews online, and it did not disappoint - mostly. The numbered cards in the minor suits are light on imagery, but there is still symbolism found in each card. This deck mostly follows the Smith-Waite rubric. The book is pretty good, but the descriptions could definitely be more detailed.
I like the moon cards, but I haven't decided yet how I'm going to use them.
Production Quality
This deck is well-made…but it's also pricey, at $58 USD for the deck and an additional $25 USD for the book. The deck comes packaged in a very nice tuck box - but for the price, I'd have preferred a fully-lined telescoping box, instead. The deck is not made in America; it's printed in Taiwan. This is unsurprising, but disappointing nonetheless.
