Spread Notes

The three-card spread is one of the most commonly-used spreads in the Tarot world. The three cards can represent a variety of concepts: past-present-future, a decision with two major options and potential outcomes, even communication and interaction between different people. The images on the cards can frequently aid you in determining the meaning of a three-card spread, so you don't necessarily have to decide what each position means before you lay the cards.

For an expanded version of this spread, which allows for two cards in each of the three positions, check out the Six-Cardplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigSix-Card

Spread Notes

This is an expanded version of the Three-Card spread, taking two cards for each stage, rather than one. I usually find that two cards are better than one, as combining two images gives more context to what messages apply to the given situation.
